A stunning vintage gold tone and faux pearl necklace signed and made by Trifari.
This may have been designed by Alfred Philippe, who served as the head designer for Trifari from 1930 to 1968 and was known for his innovative and intricate designs, often featuring faux pearls and rhinestones.
The plating appears to be Trifanium, a patented, high-quality, non-tarnishing metal alloy that was developed by Trifari and often found in Philippe's pieces from the 1950s onward.
This choker features faux pearls in 2 different sizes that are set in a gold tone crisscross pattern.
The center of the choker is slightly larger than the sides and attach with a link.
It has a hook clasp that's stamped "TRIFARI (c)", and an adjustable fit.
