Vintage COIN OPERATED hotel and or motel radio. Made by Tradio-ette and is model TE 6-8. All metal radio to help prevent with theft. I believe this was made in the 1940's. Made to sit in a Motel or Hotel room. The guest would insert 25 cents for a certain amount of time to listed to music/news.

PLEASE READ: The following is what has been tested and the items condition. SEE VIDEO AS WELL. All tubes light up and the radio has sound and more than one station could be tuned in. Volume works but has some static. Tuner knob works. The key works for the coin tray. The coin mechanism was not tested. The back comes off and the tray opens when the key is turned. The all metal body is in good shape with very light signs of age. All original. The bottom feet are still there and the radio has no wobble. The cord and antenna look to be in good shape and function. The back door may have had screws at one time. The tray has to come out before the back will open. S
