Rashaan Salaam was a talented running back who played for the Chicago Bears. He was known for his powerful running style and his ability to break tackles.
Salaam had a standout rookie season in 1994, winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. His impressive performance helped the Bears reach the NFC Championship Game that year. However, injuries and declining performance plagued his later years in the NFL.
Sadly, Salaam passed away in 2016 at the age of 42.
