This silk robe was given to me from a relatives estate. My aunt traveled to China and Japan quite often. This robe / coat has been in her closet for decades, never worn. There are two small marks and one of the button loops needs to be sewn (see pic) otherwise it is in amazing condition for its age. I do not dare to have this cleaned for fear of hurting it more than helping. I’m told she had it made for her so it is not anything that was mass produced so there are no tags of any kind. I am 5 foot 10 and this is long on me, I wear a medium or size 8 to 10, this is very big on me and the sleeves are very long. My aunt paid a great deal for this, a local antique dealer that specializes in Asian antiques appraised it for me, retail in her shop it would be $1500.
