So I purchased these as cultured pearl and abalone shirt studs, I then sent them to Yvonne of Cecile Raley Designs to have them converted into earrings.
The shell (mother of pearl) on these is in excellent condition, it's a light coffee color and the pearls are about 3mm, the edge has a very pretty pattern etched into it, these are hanging from sterling silver ear wires and are on the daintier side.
It takes something that isn't worn and makes it current in today's fashion.
Have fun with them!
