I only used it to test carry my 5 pound Pomeranian couple times. We decided to go with a different style carrier for her and the bag has been stored in a closet since.
The bag was roomy enough for her to sit, turn around, and lay down comfortably. We did put a small blanket in for her when trying to make it cozy.
The handle drop allows the bag to be carried on your shoulder or by holding in your hand.
