This Amelia Earhart vanity train case is made of sturdy peach tan colored vinyl with a textured tweed design. Trimmed in peach tan heavy leather with single & double ivory stitching along edges. Hardware is antique brass including the two front latches & locking mechanisms with an “Amelia Earhart” name plate attached. Handle in peach tan leather held on by antique brass hardware. Antique brass pegs on bottom for protection. Interior completely lined in a dark peach fabric with a wide gathered piece attached to lid & four elasticized gathered pieces on sides. Inside lid has a mirror held on by a dainty gathered holder. Amelia Earhart key included for locking case, works easily with both locks. It is 13 3/4”L, 9 1/2”W, 8 1/2”H, 6 1/3”D. Case from 1940’s & in wonderful vintage condition. Slight markings, scuffs, wear on exterior & handle. No dents, cracks, chips. Few stains on interior, no tears, holes, odors. Cloudiness on mirror, no cracks, chips. See photos. Beautiful vintage piece.
