This is an antique 10K yellow gold and hair Victorian memorial watch chain. The watch chain is made of dark brown braided and twisted hair. The hair is bound at three points with pieces of 10K gold. The gold is engraved with detailed designs of scrolls and leaves. The center gold piece also has a loop for hanging a watch or fob. The watch chain is not marked, but I have confirmed 10K gold by acid testing all of the pieces.
Originally I thought this was gold filled or gold plated but it holds steady with 14K gold acid as shown. A local pawn shop told me it is 10k.
