Beautiful hand made carved white jade pendant w/ black hand knotted necklace in an elegant Asia Society velvet & silk lined case From Rita Chung, Chinese-American jewelry designer Rita Chung Design, prior to 2010 Carved white jade is 2-sided dragon representation It measures 3” x 1 3/4 Jewelry in case weighs 2 ounces Necklace is made of hand knotted black shiny cord—could be a clover knot or even Solomon’s knot—just a guess Pullover style without clasp—total drop is 15 1/2” per side of necklace including pendant Burgundy colored velvety case with inner brownish-black shimmery satin lining & snaps for holding stored pendant necklace safely in place—gold tone frog & wraparound cord closure Case marked AS for Asia Society of Park Avenue New York where Rita Chung herself & her jewelry was a special event exhibition for several years Very good preowned one owner condition—it has been safely stored in its case for years Please see photos for appearance & condition Ships in plastic in box
