In good vintage condition with some scratches here and there. There's a maple leaf and 80 carved into it. I'm not sure if it was done by the artist or not. There is no Reed & Barton mark inside so I'm not sure that it is a Reed & Barton box. The paperwork was in the box. The top is slightly darkened around the top outside edge. It's so slight that it's hard to see. Please examine photos closely as I tried to picture the scratches, and one corner is rounded. It weighs 4lbs so it will cost extra to ship.
It has beautiful dove tailed corners and a bamboo inlay design. I believe it is for jewelry and not flatware. There is a tray inside that lifts off. The box is velvet lined on the bottom. I think the wood is probably maple. Gorgeous vintage piece!
