Made by Westmoreland Glass Co, this vanity powder box is a hoop skirted lady in clear lead glass. The lidded box was originally made as a powder box but can also be used for small jewelry or cosmetic items. The bottom of the box is signed W for Westmoreland and the makers mark that was used between 1949 and 1984.
This is original Westmoreland glass and not a reproduction. Ive owned this piece since the early 1980s and it was not new when I acquired it. It is an older production most likely from the 1960s.
The box is medium in size at 5" tall x 3 3/4" wide or 13 cm x 9.5 cm. The entire box is in sparkling clean pristine condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks.
