Men TIMEX Mercury 1963 vintage wind& set

A very wonderful museum quality Men's TIMEX MERCURY model # 10302463. From the year 1963 this TIMEX appears as it did almost 60 years ago. The only exception to this is the glow of the patina from the original and untouched lacquer finished dial. This patina is much sought-after among collectors. Even the case back retains it's original finish and appearance. This mechanical set and wind watch has a TIMEX model 24. Known by it's advertisement of takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Having no wear and rear it's as it was transported from then until now. This movement has been professionally service by a watchmaker who has developed the techniques necessary to fully service what, in the past, was considered impossible to do. For it's age and watch type it keeps decent time. This watch deserves a collector who will protect it from harm and not subject it to any abuse. Even though millions of Timex's were made during this period, there are very few that have survived in this condition.
