This is for a single dumbbell.
Some flaws chips casting marks but nothing that prevents its use for its intended purpose.
Halteres (/hælˈtəriːz/; Greek: ἁλτῆρες, from "ἅλλομαι" - hallomai, "leap, spring"; cf. "ἅλμα" - halma, "leaping") were a type of dumbbells used in Ancient Greece.
This is a single dumbbell of the first known modern dumbbell design as per the book, "The Arte De Gymnastica" from the 1500s by Mercurialis. This is Iron and weighs approximately 3.5 kilos, 7 lbs 11.5 oz.
The design is from a photo of the only known surviving set from the 1500s.
The images above represent Greeks in training, but Mercurialis has been doubted in this regard to this history by some scholars.

I have added a photo above with the rest of the description since 1k characters was not enough to post all the details.
