The Gibbs Trolling Swimmer a true classic among trollers and a secret for many years among striped bass trophy hunters. The triple hook, pan-lipped 8" wood body will effectively swim at any depth and water condition. At 1-2 knot trolling speed it will swim about 4 feet deep. It can be trolled with wireline to achieve deeper depths. It is rigged with a 330# swivel on the front line tie eye.
The Gibbs Trolling Swimmer is also a great jetty lure when cast into the out-flowing current and allowed to drift off shore before beginning the retrieve.
