I am not responsible for a faulty system, but I can confirm that the laptop still turns on and charges. It has not been used in at least 4 years. See the images for the set-up screen. Everything has been erased off of it. The screen is foggy and a little scratched (can best be seen in the “Sign in with your Apple ID” photo. I’m sure you can replace the screen, but it wasn’t worth it for me personally. Charging port is dirty/rusted but still works. Charging cord is yellowing. Also includes an Apple Mouse, a 60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter, and the extension cord. There’s electrical tape on the small part of the cord. The 1.8 meter power adapter cable is an AC extension lead. Does not come with the original box. Shipping is 5 pounds. Has some scratches on the back of the laptop.
