Beautiful and rare set of 3 delicate porcelain tea cups and 3 matching saucers Satsuma Meiji period. Vibrant colors and lots of gold. Imagery of beautiful women in the countryside with mountains and trees, water and family. Some signs of age and use and a few minor chips on the bottom of the saucers and flea chips at the edges of the cups. In amazing shape for the age. No major damage. The Meiji era extended from October 23, 1868, to July 30, 1912 and was known for its lavish aesthetic. Each piece is hand formed and hand painted.
