Antique Vintage Japanese Satsuma Style Pottery Vase with Stylized Handles and Hand Painted Moriage Floral Design. This piece is marked on the bottom with what Google Translate says are Chinese characters. One side has an Asian style floral design, perhaps a chrysanthemum. The other has a Western Victorian era style rose bouquet. Note that the green background field is not carefully painted where the handles meet the body, which leaves the white porcelain showing through. There is also a white dot on the base that is missing paint, not a chip. See photos.
Lovely antique vintage condition with surface crazing, but no chips or cracks. About 12" tall, 6" wide and weighs 2 pounds 10.8 ounces. The base is marked with Asian characters.
