Antique 14k White Gold & Silver Collet Paste Drop Earrings - New Upcycled

Upcycled from a damaged Art Deco English 835 sterling silver brooch, these earrings are truly one-of-a-kind. The original swooping half-collet settings gracefully cradle hand-cut paste stones that sparkle like lead crystal. 14k stamped white gold hooks add both strength and timeless elegance. Open backs allow light to flood through the stones, enhancing their radiant shimmer. Paste — a leaded glass popular from the 1700s to the 1940s — was once the choice of French aristocrats seeking diamond-like brilliance. These vintage stones show a few tiny, age-appropriate nicks under magnification, but remain beautifully wearable. To care: store them apart to avoid scratches and clean gently with a soft damp cloth. Only two pairs were created from the original brooch — this is the final pair available. Each earring measures just over 25mm in length; the stones are 12.8 by 10.7mm.
