My finest Untreated Imperial Blue Zircon from Cambodia. This gem is just remarkable. Such impressive electric neon blue color saturation. Sparkling brilliance and luster with pinfire flashes. I have been told multiple times by multiple people that all blue zircon is irradiated or goes through some sort of process before it gets its color. That is not the case with this stone. This beautiful specimen comes out of the Earth this color. No treatment necessary. I have never seen Untreated Blue Zircon before except on this one occasion. I acquired two of these gems with this one being the nicest. It is a vintage stone mined in the first few years the mine was operating. I acquired it from a retired gemologist and was one of his nicer gemstones out of well over a million.
