1900's Pittsburgh Nationals "Pirates" cap pin (player worn) This pin was worn on a players baseball cap for the 1900's Pittsburgh National Pirates who played in the National League "PN" (National Pirates) Honus Wagner very well could have worn this pin in 1903. Amazing discovery..as none others have ever turned up! The pin -font for both letters on the pin match the correct font for 1900's Pirates uniform. This won't last long! We've got this in from a consignment who told us his grandparents were avid fans of the Pirates and this possibly was gifted to them from a player during that time. They resided in Pittsburgh during the 1900's and had other items in there collection. We can't find much more information on it, but we feel strongly this is definitely a cap/pin player worn pin worn during the World Series of 1903 which was the first World Series in the history of Major League baseball (Pirates vs Boston)
