The new ESD 162 POSA is a powerful innovation in core drilling, with a German-made 19.5 Amp, 120 V, IHT dry core drill motor.
Featuring a specially designed IHT soft impact system, it enables an optimized, high-frequency impact for fast drilling without the need for water.
The IHT system also benefits with faster cutting speed, excellent dust extraction, less effort, and easy cleanup with no slurry, staining, splatter, or water hazards that come with wet drilling. Designed for extremely fast drilling of up to in 6-3/8Äù dia.

Not only is the ESD 162 engineered for maximum efficiency, but it is also built with an ergonomic design and anti-vibration handles, maximizing user comfort. Paired with the BST 162 H stand the ESD 162 can be mounted separately from the availble BST 162 H anchor stand for reduced user effort and increased productivity and accuracy.
It can also be used for hand or rig-guided drilling of walls and ceiling openings in sanitary, heating, and ventilation construction, and comes with a dust extraction system to maximize user safety. *For safety drilling over 3" diameter, mounting in the BST 162 H stand is required.
